It was freezing and it was a real challenge trying to shower. Thanks really to the hot water and super fast flow rate. I managed. Also subh was at 5:26am.
It was cold and I was lonely.
That was to change when I Skyped Mak. As usual her face lit up on the screen and thanks to Skype and US technology I had a face to face conversation with her for about 28 minutes. Imagine the cost if it was IDD? Alhamdulillah.
Anyway as I blogged now, my mood had changed from loneliness to one of cheefulness as Mak told me;
- That Raudhah is truly a caring and concerned girl
- How she and father brought Rayn to the wet market and how Rayn is conversant in Malay
- How much Rayn loves her cooking and how well he got along with father.
- How Fir still hugs her, at all places in school and at home without feeling ashamed.
- How Eidul Adha was in Singapore
- Her plans for vacation with father.
All in all, distance was bridged, though it was 8:30 pm on Wednesday it is 5.45 am on Tuesday. My heart felt at home. I love my childrenand Faiz and I miss them all lots.
I also learnt this morning that I hadn't fail in becoming a good parens, for thru my mom I learnt that my kids truly respect and more implortantly love their grandparents. Syukur alhamdlillah for that.
Me going off to school nowl. Must get ready bus fare change... brave the cold and ... get to school by 7:30am.
